Now there’s a sexy cabbage!

Yet another extraordinary photo by Edward WESTON and yet another extraordinarily good food your all of us to be eating this Autumn. Raw or juiced is pretty good but pickled is even better. A great way to round off a meal and perfect for getting the large intestine moving along as it should. Lately I have been enjoying some of the artisanal naturally fermented (i.e. pickled) cabbage that are now fairly easily available. Raw Sisterhood’s “Pickle Me Pink” is particularly yummy – but there are a number of other brands. Just ask in your preferred organic wholefoods shop.
