Now, normally I would not re-post a recipe that I have not personally tried (and possibly altered a bit) but, in this case …. I have not yet encountered an Ottolenghi dish that disappointed me – and I have made (& eaten) a few in the last couple of years – so I am taking it on spec. Besides, in his intro to this he waxes lyrical about cabbages in a way that I simply could not resist – he even uses the “S” word! And this recipe is perfect for the growing chill of Autumn (he posted it in the UK Guardian in Oct after all). It has carrot, miso, mushroom and barley to say nothing of onion and FRESH feta. So follow the link and have a look – you will find no less than a trilogy of cabbage recipes. http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2014/oct/24/cabbage-recipes-yotam-ottolenghi-slaw-soup
