Video Series 1: DO IN
This seven part video series will teach you – step by step – how to do a comprehensive DO IN: an “auto-shiatsu”. This is the Shiatsu you do for yourself when there is nobody available to give you a Shiatsu.
The material is very simple, very straightforward & very accessible. It involves quite a bit of tapping with fingertips, pounding with loose fists as well as rubbing and squeezing along meridian lines. It can be quick, loose and dynamic or a longer, more detailed activation of multiple meridians and acu-points. Either way, it delivers a terrific energetic and physical wake up for your system.
VIDEO SERIES 1 comprises 7 videos and was posted between April 14, 2020 and May 6, 2020
Video Series 2: MAKKO HO
This five part video series will lead you through The MAKKO HO ZEN ENERGY EXERCISES. The sequence consists of six exercises, one for each yin/yang pair of “ordinary” meridians. They are fairly simple – and probably recognizable – exercises or poses. However, if you would like them to be effective as meridian energy exercises, you would be advised to put aside any ideas of building physical stretch &/or strength capacity. A more useful approach is to relax, breathe easily and imagine that you are using the shape of the exercise(s) as a tool with which to immerse in the energy of the meridian pair. Let yourself discover how it feels for you to be there.
The Makko-Ho are experiential and exploratory. The end point of each exercise in the sequence and the sequence as a whole is to facilitate the movement and balance of KI energy within and across your meridians.

This very PASSIVE PSOAS RELEASE / KIDNEY ENERGY RECHARGE exercises offers a strong counterpoint to the more complex and dynamic DO IN and MAKKO HO. However, they all offer the opportunity to rejuvenate, release and balance your energy system. The beauty of this one simple exercise is that you don’t need to do anything except put yourself in the right environment in the correct position and then be a little patient.
The spontaneous release of the psoas muscles and the spine enables deep relaxation and recharging of the Kidney energy – the crucial battery of our system. This, in turn, encourages the shift into the parasympathetic mode of the nervous system. It is in this mode that our system as a whole can truly rest, re-balance and heal itself.
